Oh Abba,
How You long to show Yourself powerful in our lives.
You have waited and waited for such a time as this.
Everything around us tells us that You are rising up and scattering Your enemies.
The world is in an uproar as Your enemies run around in utter chaos and panic.
Nation after nation decides which line to stand in: Yours of Light or satan’s of darkness.
Moving their embassies to Jerusalem or pushing the Jews into the sea become issues of great magnitude.
Every single aspect of “modern life” is in turmoil as Your Kingdom comes.
You are rising up and taking control of everything.
And now, the final frontier, the most glorious victory, is You rising up in our lives.
How we long for You and we won’t admit it.
How we thirst for You and we won’t take a drink.
How we yearn for You and we won’t lean on You for support.
How we hunger for You and we won’t eat of the Bread of Heaven.
Yet, You stand there at the doors of our hearts, knocking, knocking, knocking.
You are patient and kind and long-suffering and long-enduring.
But You won’t wait forever.
You wait for a long time…..but You won’t wait forever.
You extend grace to us because of Yeshua, but You won’t wait forever.
You are Master of Time, but time marches on.
You won’t hold up Your Plan waiting for us, forever.
So, rise up, O LORD of the Armies of Heaven.
Rise up in the battlefield of our minds.
Yes….do Your signs and wonders and show Yourself strong.
Yes…bring forth Your Plan and Your Victory and Your Scattering of Your enemies.
Yes…put Your Word into our hands and into our hearts.
And rise up in our minds.
Capture our hearts and dazzle our minds.
Show us Your glory as never before.
Humble us, O God.
Bring us into Your Kingdom with singing and dancing and rejoicing.
Then, boot us out into this fallen world to grab others by their hands and drag them into Your Presence.
For You alone are good.
Your love has created the universe.
Your words have created us.
There is no one like You, for You alone are God.
Rise up in us, O God.
We, your likeness, are Your most wonderful prize, Your most glorious creation, Your most valuable treasure.
And we are Your most slippery possession.
Rise up, O LORD, and show Yourself glorious.
Don’t give up on us yet.
Keep on pushing through our distractions and win us.
For, deep down inside, we want nothing more than You.
Thank You, Abba.
Thank You.
