Rise up, O LORD, let Your enemies be scattered!
And let those who hate You.....
Wait a minute.
What is this?
Those who HATE You?
HATE?
This Hebrew Word is שנא which is pronounced “sah-nayh “.
In this particular verb form, it means: a hater of persons, nations, God, or wisdom.
It also means to be hateful or odious.
So, “those who hate You” are those who are hateful and odious.
They hate as a way of life.
They hate the very things God loves.
They hate wisdom....which is what God is!
They hate people and nations.....the very reason Yeshua came to us as the Ultimate Sacrifice.
Their hatred is complete and hinders the work and purpose of God.
God is not surprised when He bumps up against this kind of hatred. He uses it for His glory. He waits to spring the trap until the right time. That time is a mystery to us as we look ahead, because we do not have His knowledge of the hearts of men and the plan of the enemy. So, we wait, in faith, poised and ready, armor on, praise bursting forth from our hearts....actively waiting for His time to arrive.
And when it does.....those who hate Him are revealed clearly.
He puts His instructions into our hearts by His Holy Spirit.
We call to Him in praise and joy and with humble hearts....
RISE UP, O LORD! LET YOUR ENEMIES BE SCATTERED!
AND LET THOSE WHO HATE YOU FLEE BEFORE YOU!
There is no hope for hatred.
It must be given up and forgiven by the very One Who was hated.
Or, it will be destroyed by the power of Love.
Either way, it is gone.
And let those who hate You.....
