This is the day the Lord has made.
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
But we do not worship the day.
Arise, shine, for your light has come.
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
But we do not worship the glory.
Pray for kings and all those in authority over you.
So that your own lives will be peaceful and safe.
But we do not worship our leaders.
God’s invisible qualities and His eternal power
Have been clearly seen in His workmanship, His creation.
But we do not worship His creation.
We, men and women, are created beings,
Created in the image of God Himself.
But we do not worship ourselves or each other.
He made the sun to rule by day ,
And the moon and stars to rule by night.
But we do not worship the heavenly lights.
His angels are glorious beings,
Messengers who obey His every command.
But we do not worship angels.
Do not be confused, dear brothers and sisters.
Do not let the confusion of this world confuse you.
Do not let the vivid pictures of the videos and movies
sway your minds and affect your hearts.
Do not be sidetracked.
There is only One God
One!
And He is the Powerful One,
the Creator,
the Ruler,
the Sustainer,
the Redeemer,
the Counsellor,
the Savior
the Lover,
the Father,
the Son,
the Holy Spirit.
There is no other.
And He is rising just as surely as the sun rises in the east.
Face Him with clear eyes and humble hearts, totally submitted to His authority,
bathed in His Blood of Sacrifice,
forgiven of hundreds of sins,
possessor of the keys of His Kingdom,
totally aware that He is God and you are not,
willing to stand and testify to His goodness,
trembling in the face of HIs tremendous power,
laughing with joy, basking in His beauty,
living forever in His Presence.
This is HIs world and we are His creation.
He has made us and not we ourselves.
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.
Give thanks to Him,
Bless His Name.
For the LORD is good.
He is good!
He is very, very, unimaginably, stunningly, good.
HalleluYah!
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
