Life can sometimes be difficult, even harsh. Sometimes, we can feel alone, discouraged or feel like we are carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders. If you ever feel like that then it is time to realize what a Help we have in Yeshua. You were never meant to carry that kind of weight; your shoulders are too fragile.
Yeshua said, “My yoke is easy and my burden is light.” That is why He wants us to walk with Him… (even that is wrong!) The right thing to say is…. He wants to walk with us! The yoke He has for you will be a perfect fit for you and Him…together. When we choose to walk alone, forgetting Him or leaving Him behind, is when our way gets difficult. Don’t kick Him to the curb and wonder off by yourself. If you have, this is the perfect time to return to Him. That is what this month is all about….returning to Him! He is waiting with open arms for all the prodigals to come home. He is even standing on the edge of the road searching for them.
To think that we can worship Him as King of Kings while walking hand in hand with Him is a wonderful thought. As you walk out this day with Him, think of relating to Him as:
Keep Him close, hold His hand. It is a perfect fit, and in the strength of it will you will find strength. It is much better than hold your own hand! Like the two-year old at the corner who refused his mother’s hand saying instead, “me hold me own hand!” That seldom works.

Psalm 73:23 But even so, you love me! You are holding my right hand! 24 You will keep on guiding me all my life with your wisdom and counsel, and afterwards receive me into the glories of heaven![b] 25 Whom have I in heaven but you? And I desire no one on earth as much as you!

- creature to Creator
- sheep to Shepherd
- subject to King
- clay to Potter
- child to Father
